The Coolest Airbnb in Every State

Airbnbs have gone from a trendy to a normal part of travel, with competing sites popping up left and right. With so many picture perfect stays available, we combed through Airbnb to create this big list of the best Airbnb in every state.

This isn’t one of those lists that feature quirky for the sake of quirky. Every listing here is someplace we’d really love to stay, and it’s awesome inside and out. We found something cool in every state across the US, from treehouses to ghost towns, and everything in between.

Alabama

The Cottage at The Winchester Manor

Why we love it: This century old cottage has seen a lot of uses over the years, including as a post office, jail and doctor’s office. It’s also beautifully renovated and bursting with Southern charm!

Alaska

A Bus Named Nellie

Rate: $125

Why we love it: This cute and cozy bus had a former life as a Denali National Park tour bus! It’s completely renovated, with a rustic vintage vibe.

Arizona

Bell Tent Glamping on Navajoland

Why we love it: You get to stay the night on a working Native American ranch, and soak up some culture along with your glamping.

Why we love it: Another treehouse! (I’m not really sure how this little cluster happened). Georgia’s has three rooms connected by rope bridges, and fulfills just about all of our childhood fantasies.

Why we love it: A bright, modern treehouse with tropical touches, it’s close to Volcano National Park, and has everything we want in a Hawaii experience (ok, minus the cocktails).

Idaho

A Small Yurt Tucked in the Woods

Why we love it: This cozy yurt is the perfect rustic getaway, set in a birch grove in rural Idaho.

Illinois

The Prairie Glass House

Why we love it: Gorgeous and light-filled, those tall windows are actually 94 doors that can be opened in the summer to let the breezes waft through.
