Best Travel Blogs to Follow in 2018
Looking for new interesting travel bloggers to follow? Here’s our list of inspiring, adventurous travel bloggers with gorgeous photography.
There’s a ton of lists out there, but so many of them repeat the same bloggers– often bloggers who are paid to recommend certain destinations and tours. I get it, they have to make a living, but the blogs that really inspire us aren’t trying too hard to sell anything; just sharing their incredible experiences.
French fashion designer and art director Pauline Chardin is one of my favorites to follow. She shares her incredible travels on The Voyageur, and is always jetting off to a new spot (you can sort by destination on her blog, and the list of places she’s been is huge).
Her site is full of gorgeous, atmospheric photographs, which cover everything from landscapes to art museums, but she gravitates towards art and architecture, with a great eye for details.
Jamie Beck of Ann St Studio works as a photographer, traveling quite a bit (and quite luxuriously) in the course of her work.
She travels all over, but her photographs are consistently romantic and envy inducing, frequently featuring the designer fashion she works with. But don’t think you have to be a fashionista to appreciate her work! There’s great variety, and plenty of wanderlust-inducing shots.

Hecktic Travels is Canadian husband and wife team Pete and Dalene Heck. They quit their jobs to travel the world in 2009, and made a go of it as freelancers and travel bloggers.
Their photography has gotten fantastic over the years (they make me seriously think about getting a drone!), and they gravitate towards stunning wide open spaces.
Ever wanted to grab your best friend and take off on a never-ending road trip? That’s exactly what Kyla and Jill did, and I wish at least once a week that they’d take me on as a third member.
They’re cool, funny, and take absolutely stunning photographs. While they travel mostly in the US, there’s no shortage of inspiration. Get your summer road trip plans here.
Geraldine of The Everywhereist isn’t exactly your traditional travel blogger, but she does travel pretty frequently, tagging along as her husband travels the world for work.
You want to follow her because she’s hilarious, and a fantastic writer. Sometimes she travels to exotic places, other times she just goes to a Star Trek exhibit. No matter what, her writing is smart, funny, and informative.
Mr & Mrs Globetrot is Yuriy and Julia, newlyweds traveling the world. They’ve been all over, and their photos are like a hipster travel ad (in the best possible way).
You’ll find tons of travel inspiration, and un-biased recommendations for where to stay and what to do.
Legal Nomads is the story of Jodi, who quit her corporate law job to travel the world. She posts long-form travel stories, travel and food guides (as well as special celiac guides).
Her site is a fantastic balance of thoughtful, entertaining writing and useful info, from her experience on a 10 day Vipassana silent meditation retreat, to how to eat street food without getting sick.
Kate is now based in NYC, but spent five years traveling the world. She still travels all over the world regularly, and you’ll get peeks of New York as well.
I love Kate because she’s honest, opinionated, and fun. Her photography is fantastic, and has grown by leaps and bounds over the years. (I actually purchased my Fuji X-T2 partially on her recommendation, because her photos are that great).
